Abstract

The following women were announced to speak at the council meeting of the Women's Liberal Federation: the Countess of Aberdeen, Lady Davey, Lady Constance Shaw Lefevre, Mrs. Bryce, Mrs Stansfeld, and Lady Fanny Marjoribanks. 1) Brighton: At a meeting of the Brighton Women's Liberal Association, Miss Cobden spoke about the petition to the House of Lords in support of the bill that would allow women to sit and act on County Councils. Miss Conybeare spoke at length about women's suffrage and many topics related to it. 2) Newton: At the women's conference, Lady Sandhurst spoke about women's suffrage.
