1) King's College: Reproduces as speech by the Duke of Argyll on attendance of lectures by women. 2) "A course of ten Popular Lectures on Natural Science for children and young persons, will be given by Miss Buckley." 3) Suffrage: Mentions a lecture by Caroline Biggs, given at the Conservative Working Men's Club. Women in Politics: Cites the Suffrage Journal on "ladies taking part in the speeches" at a dinner in Edinburgh. 4) Medical Women - British Women's Temperance Association: At a drawing-room meeting at Mansion House, three women read papers on temperance and women's work. They are briefly paraphrased.
