1) London School of Medicine: Edith Pechey, M. D., delivers the opening address for the new term at the school. The speech is summarised. 2) Trades Union Congress: Paraphrases female delegates' contributions to the debates at the congress, and includes a direct quotation of a short speech by Dr. Eliza Dunbar. 3) Church Congress: Miss Whatley reads a paper during a discussion of the subject of "Woman's Work in the Church." 4) Miscellaneous - Needlework: At the inaugural meeting for the London Institute for the Advancement of Plain Needlework, Mrs. Floyer reads a paper on "The Difficulties of Teaching Plain Needlework."
