Abstract

[Paragraph 10] Mrs. Ormiston Chant gave a lecture on "Poets as Reformers" at the New Somerville Club. Mrs. Besant will lecture there as well. [Paragraph 12] Miss Millington Lathbury gave a lecture at the British Museum in which she said that ancient Greek women were no physical or intellectual match for modern women. [Paragraph 18] Mrs. Emmet and Mrs. Palian, delegates from the British Temperance League, "addressed an enthusiastic meeting of women." [Paragraph 22] Miss Eugene Sellers will deliver a lecture on "Greek Theatre" in the Lecture Theatre of the South Kensington Museum. [Paragraph 24] Mrs. Fawcett gave an address on "The Social Position of Women" at the University College.
