1) Echoes of the Week's Work: Mrs. Stanbury has delivered three addresses on women's suffrage. 2) Weston-Super-Mare: At a meeting of the Liberal Club, Mrs. Stanbury gave an address on women's suffrage. She spoke about the idea of "no taxation without representation" and said that women should be allowed to express their political opinions. 3) Heywood Reform Club: The Heywood Advertiser printed a comment on the suffrage meeting recently held at the Reform Club. Miss Ryley delivered an address in which she said that taxation and representation ought to go together. She quoted from British and American writers such as Milton and Emerson to support her claim that women and men were equals. She also described the reasons why women wanted the vote. Miss Wubbe gave an address in which she explained the principles of the Women's Liberal Federation. 4) Two Drawing Room Meetings: The Central National Society for Women's Suffrage will hold a meeting that will be addressed by Lady Sandhurst. Millicent Fawcett, supported by Leonora Wynford Phillips and Mrs. Rawford Slack, will speak at another meeting.
