1) Chislehurst Primrose League: At a meeting of the Chislehurst Conservative Association, Mrs. Ormiston Chant gave an address on female enfranchisement. Miss Cecily Philipps presented an account of the Birmingham Conference she had attended. 2) Important Meeting: At a meeting of the Central National Society in London, Mrs. Charles McLaren gave an address on Women's Suffrage. She spoke in favour of female enfranchisment and listed a number of reasons why women should have the vote. Mrs. McLaren also quoted well-known suffragists like Lady Sandhurst to support her statements. Leonora Wynford Phillips gave an address in favour of the equality of the sexes. 3) Womanhood Suffrage: At a meeting in Mrs Percy Bunting's house, Millicent Fawcett gave an address on Women's Suffrage in which she dealt with (and subsequently refuted) all the objections that were commonly brought forth against female enfranchisement.
