1) Mrs. Ormiston Chant's Meetings: Laura Ormiston Chant gave addresses in Bournemouth and Tirnhoe. She spoke about temperance and women's suffrage. 2) Leicester Society for Women's Suffrage: At a meeting in Leicester, Miss Gittins submitted the report of the committee and mentioned that some members of the House of Commons that were in favour of female enfranchisement before had recently changed their minds. Mrs. Ewing spoke a few words about the society's difficulties.
