Abstract

1) Lady Sandhurst at Wood Green: Lady Sandhurst gave an address on women as political reformers at a meeting of the Wood Green Liberal Association. 2) Landport: At a women's meeting in Landport, Mrs. Ward spoke the opening remarks. She spoke about equality between the sexes and the question of female enfranchisement. 3) Lady Carlisle on Women's Place in Politics: Lady Carlisle gave an address at a liberal meeting in Kendal. She spoke about the changing status of women, Women's Suffrage, and the recent history of the question of female enfranchisement. Miss Palmer also addressed the meeting. She urged the audience to let women share "in the political movements of the time."
