1) Hornsey Women's Liberal Association: At a meeting of the Association, Miss Hadland gave an address on "Technical Education." She spoke about the progress of education starting from the time of Sir Thomas More to the present day. She then compared the educational systems of some European countries and concluded that true technical education had to be encouraged further as there were still many deficiencies. 2) Wimbledon: At a meeting of the Wimbledon and Merton Women's Liberal Association, Mrs. Morgan Thomas gave an address on "Citizenship" in which she urged women to "procure for themselves [...] the first right of citizens, namely, a vote." Mrs. Paston spoke about the "flourishing state of the Association."
