Abstract

1) The Complaint of the Women's Gazette: The article discusses a debate between the Women's Liberal Federation and the Women's Liberal Association, one of the complaints the former directs at the latter being the fact that the Association's lecturers do not charge for their public speaking while those of the Federation do. 2) Meetings - Women's Liberal Associations: Laura Ormiston Chant gave three addresses on women's suffrage in Attercliffe, Hallam, and Brightside. Watton: Mrs. Chant gave an address on women's suffrage and the Temperance Reform at a meeting in Watton. Stockbridge: At a meeting of the Liberal Club, Mrs. Sheldon Amos gave an address in favour of equal representation of the sexes. Addison Road Drawing Room Meeting: At a meeting in Kensington, Mrs. Sheldon Amos gave an address on women's suffrage from a historical point of view. Miss Northcroft gave an address on a "New School for Girls."
