Abstract
Mentions Philipps's gift for public speaking is mentioned repeatedly throughout the text. Philipps herself says she mainly gives addresses on the issue of women's suffrage, but she has also spoken on temperance. She then talks about the art (and the difficulty) of public speaking and the fact that it requires serious study just like any other subject.
