1) Leicester: At a meeting of the Women's Liberal Association, Mrs. Wm. Stanyon read a paper on the direct vote and Miss Gittins spoke on "one man one vote." 2) Bishopston: At a meeting of the Bristol West Women's Liberal Association, Mrs. Martin spoke in favour of female enfranchisement, Mrs. Tanner said women should study politics, and Emily Sturge submitted a resolution against the opium trade. 3) Henley-on-Thames: At a meeting of the Henley Women's Liberal Association, Mrs. Stanbury gave an address on the women's suffrage question. 4) Hornsey: At a meeting of the Hornsey Women's Liberal Association, Miss Goff opened the discussion on the Infectious Diseases Act. She said the Act's rule of compulsory notification was an infringement of the subjects's liberty.
