Abstract

1) Rhosllanerchrugog: At a meeting of the Rhosllanerchrugog Women's Liberal Association, Laura Ormiston Chant and Mrs. Philipps delivered addresses. 2) Rhyl: At a meeting for the purpose of founding a Women's Liberal Association, Mrs. E. Lloyd Jones spoke the opening remarks. She said she was delighted to have a Women's Liberal Association meeting in Rhyl because it was often said that Welsh women were not political and in her opinion, this was not true. Laura Ormiston Chant gave an address on the necessity of women becoming poor law guardians.
