1) Dumfries and Maxwelltown: At a meeting of the Women's Liberal Association, Mrs. McKinnel read a paper on women's suffrage. 2) Leith: Miss Burton, Miss H.B. Thomson, and Mrs. Davy spoke in favour of female enfranchisement at a discussion in Leith. 3) Royston: At a meeting of the Women's Liberal Association, Mrs. E.O. Fordham gave an address on the duty of women in the upcoming general election. She said the Association was formed so that women could be political, and that it was their duty to be so. Miss Lindsay spoke on the question of "Pensions". Afterwards, there was a discussion in which Mrs. Naylor, Miss E.S. Titchmarsh, and Mrs. E.O. Fordham took part. At a meeting a week later, Mrs. E.O. Fordham spoke on the same topic. She argued in favour of female enfranchisment. 4) Corrie Brow: Miss Taylor delivered an address on the principles and progress of women's suffrage.
