1) Soiree: At a meeting of the Women's Liberal Associations of London, short addresses were given by Agnes Maitland, Leonora Wynford Philipps, and Miss Conybeare. 2) Richmond District Liberal Association, Lecture on Women's Suffrage: Mrs. Morgan Brown delivered a lecture in favour of women's suffrage. She gave a list of reasons why she was not disheartened by Mr. Gladstone's letter in which he had urged women to postpone their desire for enfranchisement because of more pressing matters. She said that women's suffrage was unstoppable even though Mr. Gladstone might not be in favour of it at the moment.
