Abstract

1) South St. Pancras W.L.A.: At a meeting of the South Pancras Women's Liberal Association, Mrs. Stanbury moved a resolution to prohibit the sale of intoxicating liquors to children. 2) Birkenhead: At a tea meeting, Miss Robinson gave an address. 3) Woodford Women's Liberal Association: At a meeting of the Woodford Women's Liberal Association, Laura Ormiston Chant gave an address on the reform of the Poor Law, and Mrs. Bateson gave an address on Home Rule for Ireland.
