Abstract

1) Obituary: A short obituary for Miss Emily Sturge, a suffragette and lecturer. 2) Aberdare: At a public meeting in Aberdare, Mrs. Thomas introduced the speaker, Mrs. Stanbury. Mrs. Stanbury spoke about female enfranchisement and "the action of the Progressive party on the Women's Liberal Federation." 3) Merthyr Tydfil: Mrs. Stanbury addressed a meeting of the Merthyr Women's Liberal Association. She spoke about the importance of Liberal principles and urged women to spread these principles. She also spoke about women's suffrage. A vote of thanks was proposed to the speaker.
