1) Demonstration in Bristol: Describes a demonstration in Colston Hall, Bristol, at which several women give addresses. 2) Municipal Elections, Liverpool: "Mrs. Scatcherd also addressed two women's meetings in Leeds on the 'Meaning of the Municipal vote.'" 3) Temperance: Isabella Tod reads a paper on "Woman's Work in the Temperance Movement" at the Annual Christian Convention. Her speech is paraphrased. 4) The Haberdasher's Company and the Baroness Burdett-Coutts: The Baroness speaks to thank the Company for conferring their "freedom and livery" on her.
