Abstract

At a garden party of the Dulwich and Penge Women's Liberal Association, Countess Alice Kearney gave a lengthy address in favour of women's suffrage. She referred to New Zealand and the country's new women's suffrage legislation. She also said women in all parts of the country, not just urban London, shared the wish for enfranchisement. Furthermore, Lady Kearney commented on the strong link between the desire for female enfranchisement and Liberalism. Mrs. H. Morgan-Browne and others also gave addresses.
