At the Conference of the Midland Union of Women's Associations at Cambridge, presided over and opened by Lady Trevelyan, several women addressed the meeting, including Miss Slack, Hon. Sec., who read the report, the Countess of Aberdeen, who introduced the topic of women's suffrage, or Mrs. Lyttleton, who deliverd "an able address" on this issue. Other female speakers included Mrs. A. C. Osler, Miss Gittin, and Mrs. Bamford Slack.
