Abstract

1) Aberystwyth: "Mrs. Brine read a paper on the 'Emancipation of Women,' which was much appreciated by the audience. 2) Ainsdale: "Miss Wübbe read an excellent paper on 'The housing of the poor in our large towns.'" 3) Altringham: Quotes Mrs. Mills, who speaks on moneteray aid for impoverished Irish families upon moving a vote of thanks. 4) Bury: Countess Alice Kearney gives an address on Women's Liberal Associations, and "Laws we women want altered." 5) Cardiff: "Mrs. Wynford Philipps gave an exhaustive address, which was much appreciated by a large and mixed audience." 6) East Manchester: "Mrs. John Winbolt gave an excellent address on 'Women's Courage.'" 7) Finsbury Park: "There was a goodly muster of ladies, who listened with interest to an excellent address by Mrs. Leeds, of Croydon." 8) Gloucester: Several women speak at a public meeting on the "Promotion of kindness to Children and Animals."
