1) A lady attends for the first time the annual meeting of the Liberal Women's Federation as a proxy-delegate, and shares her experiences and impressions in this printed letter. The meeting was chaired by Lady Aberdeen, who opened the meeting on the first day. Later several speeches, e.g. on women's labour and wages and the legal situation of women, and a discussion followed. 2) Mrs. Hicks delivered an address about Factory Inspectorships at the annual meeting of the Liberal Women's Association.
