Abstract

At a joint meeting of the South-East District Branch of the Women's Franchise League and the "New Christian Church," Upper Norwood, Mrs. Alice Cliff Scatchered and Mrs. Behrens addressed the audience. Both women spoke in favour of the female vote, and urged not only politicians to adapt the existent laws to the current times, but also all men to join women in their fight.
