Abstract

A paper on "'Why Should Women Marry?' 'For the Sake of the Men,' and Other Reasons" was read by Miss Whitehead at the Pioneer Club. In it she addressed the issue of marriage, woman's position in it, and legal matters connected to it. Other participants in the discussion were Mrs. Sheldon Amos and Mrs. Jacob Bright.
