Abstract
At a meeting of the Liverpool Ladies' Union of Workers Among Girls and Women in Victoria House, "an interesting and thoughtful paper on 'Catholic Rescue Work in Liverpool' was read by Mrs. Nolan-Slaney. [...] Mrs. Nolan-Slaney is as eloquent of speech as she is earnest in purpose. The address was received with the most outspoken approval, and elicited much animated discussion at its finsh."
