Abstract
At a social meeting of the Women's Progressive Society held at the Pioneer Club, Mrs. Morgan-Browne gave a "clever speech" showing the achievements of the society in its few years of existence. "She was followed by Mrs. Massingberd, who asked for assistence in carrying out Mrs. Fawcett's new scheme for obtaining names for the Suffrage, and Mrs. Sibthorpe closed the meeting by a telling speech on the need of financial independence for all women."
