Abstract

Several British women attended the International Socialist Congress at Zurich, among them Mrs. Eleanor Marx-Aveling , Miss Ogilvy, Mrs. Sparling, Miss Irwin and Klara Zitkin. Mrs. Marx-Aveling acted as the official interpreter and representative of the women of the Gasworkers' and General Labourer's Union.
