Abstract

Several women spoke at the recent meeting of the International Association of Factory Inspectors in Chicago. The first paper was read by Margaret Finn of New York, who argued for the women workers' right to female inspectors, to whom they could carry their grievances. After her, Miss M.B. McEnery of Philadelphia detailed what good the changes in the factory inspection laws had done for female workers in her hometown during the past five years.
