Abstract
"An instance of the business-like aptitude of ladies who take a deep interest in political movements was afforded recently. The Temperance Hall in Hardman-street was filled by the fair sex, who decided to form a Women's Suffrage Society for Liverpool. Mrs. Fawcett and others delivered pointed addresses, and the whole proceedings occupied just an hour."
