1) London School of Medicine for Women: At the institution's annual meeting, Elizabeth Garrett Anderson reads the report and speaks. 2) Industrial and Domestic Training of Irish Children: At a meeting on the topic, Mrs. Arthur Jebb "spoke at considerable length." 3) Municipal Elections, Croydon: At a meeting "to discuss the duties and responsibilities of the municipal vote," Mrs. Lucas chairs and Miss Becker and Miss Frances Lord speak. 4) Bristol Women's Liberal Association: Mrs. Cady Stanton and Mrs. Lucas speak at a soirée of the Association. The latter's address is reproduced in paraphrase. 5) Suffrage: Caroline Ashurst Biggs and Laura Ormiston Chant address a suffrage meeting. 6) Girls' Friendly Society: At a meeting of the Society, Mrs. Townshend "gave an address in which she dwelt on the importance of realising the ideals of the Society." 7) National Temperance League: Papers by three women are read at a "ladies' meeting." 8) Hygienic Dress: "Lady Harberton gave a very excellent lecture on the subject of Rational Dress." 9) Women's Position in America: Announces addresses on the subject by Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton.
