Abstract

1) At a conference of the Matrons' Council, Mrs. Strong reads a paper entitled "The method of training nurses ar the Royal Infirmary, Glasgow, and a plea for uniformity in the education of nurses." Several women who participated in the subsequent discussion are named. 2) Louise Swann gives a "lucid and argumentative speech" in favour of forming a Women's Liberal Association in Ulster.
