1) Association of Irish Schoolmistresses and Other Ladies Interested in Education: At the Association's first general meeting, a paper by Mrs. Bryant is read, Mrs. Jellert chairs, and several women participate in a discussion. 2) Conference on Parliamentary Reform: Jane Cobden "spoke from the platform." Mrs. Bright Clark speaks and is paraphrased at some lenght. 3) Suffrage: "Mrs. Fenwick Miller lectured on the subject of 'Women and the New Reform Bill.'" A second lecture is mentioned, and Lydia Becker lectures several times on 'Women's Suffrage in conncection with the New Reform Bill.'" 4) Municipal Elections - Oxford: At "a special 'women's meeting,' [...] Mrs. Max Müller took the chair, and the wife of one of the leading aldermen made an able and eloquent speech." "Mrs. Scatcherd lectured in Leeds on the duties of municipal voters." 5) "A meeting was held on 'Workhouses and who manages them,' Miss Muller presiding [...]. Mrs. Ormiston Chant was the speaker." 6) School Board Election: Various women speak at meetings held in support of a candidate. 7) Food Production Society: As part of a lecture series, Miss Ormerod is to speak on farm insects. 8) Ladies in the Church Army: At "a series of services in connection with the 'Church Army' movement," addresses were given by several women. 9) British Women's Temperance Association: At a "Four Days' Mission," several women speak or chair at meetings. The first annual conference is presided over by Mrs. Lucas, and includes a discussion among women.
