1) At a meeting of the Women Lecturers' Association, held at Dr. Williams' Libary, Mrs. Scharlieb gave a lecture on women's nerves, and why men's nerves were steadier owing to their occupation. Another lady addressed the issue of women's clothing. 2) Miss March Phillips spoke about "The NEw Journalism" to the Pioneers. Sections of her address are quoted, and her arguments and deliverance commented on. A lively debate ensued, in which other women spoke. 3) It is announced that Miss Alison Garland has been added to the list of lecturers for the National Reform Union. A number of meetings in the West of England are announced, where Miss Garland will speak. She is praised as an "effective and interesting speaker."
