1) The Scottish National Demonstration of Women: Describes a massively attended meeting "exclusively for women, with the exception of a portion of the gallery, where gentlemen with half-crown tickets were admitted." Lady Harberton, who presides, gives the opening address, of which an excerpt is included. Speeches by Isabella Tod, Mr. Scatcherd, Flora Stevenson, Florence Balgarnie, and Laura Ormiston Chant are also partially reproduced, and Eva McLaren's is summarised. At a related, "influentially attended meeting of ladies," and two other meetings, speakers including Alice Scatcherd and Florence Balgarnie give addresses. 2) Meetings and Lectures: Maye Ashton Dilke, Florence Fenwick Miller, Lydia Becker, Laura Ormiston Chant, and others give lectures or address meetings.
