Biography of Priscilla Bright McLaren that mentions the first large women's meeting she presided over in Manchester, and "that while she was painfully nervous in addressing smaller meetings, she had no tiresome nerves that night." The article briefly chronicles her career as a public speaker and includes a "Speech by Mrs. McLaren on the Enfranchisement of Women."
