Abstract

Short column discussing the importance of debate and talk to initiate change and progress, especially so if the object in question, i.e. women, is barely represented in Parliament. It therefore stresses the importance of women's congresses and meetings. Also the history of how women became to be accepted as public speakers is briefly mentioned.
