Abstract

1) On opening a bazaar at Bermondsey, Lady Henry Somerset delivered an address on poverty and drink. 2) Lady Henry Somerset spoke at the annual meeting of the Redhill Branch of the B.W.T.A., urging people to donate money instead of buying Christmas presents. 3) Mrs. Bertrand Russell gave an address on Temperance at the Women's University of Bryn Mawr. "She was enthusiastically received."
