Abstract

Report on the B. W. T. A.'s quarterly meeting at Bristol. Eva McLaren speaks on the interesections of temperance and other social issues, Miss Lile on "the political department of the society's work, and further women including Miss Priestman and Mrs. Bertrand Russell address related topics. Laura Ormiston Chant, Mrs. Bertrand Russell, and Alys Pearsall Smith speak at the evening meeting. Eva McLaren explains limelight pictures, and Lady Henry Somerset speaks on "the reclamation of female drunks." A Promoted Sister: Obituary for Anna R. Whiting, a minister. Describes her traits as speaker.
