1) Lady Elizabeth Biddulph presides at a temperance meeting. 2) The Women's Help Society: A speech by Mrs. Creighton on women's rights, delivered at a meeting of the Women's Help Society a the Bishopsgate Institute, is summarised. 3) The Conduct of Charitable and Social Work: Mrs. Bernard Bosanquet gives a lecture on "Charitable and Social Work," in which she argues that "true charity [is] the improvement of the condition of the poor," and against supplementing wages with charitable donations. 4) Women Liberals in Dundee: Miss King reads a paper on Frances Willard, and Miss Joyce Cooke on "The Position Socially and Politically of Women in Australia. The latter is briefly summarised.
