Abstract

1) "The Duchess of Albany recently opened the summer sale of the Working Ladies' Guild [...]. By the ready permission of the family of the late Sir John Everett Millais, it was held at his house [...]." 2) Lady Cecilia Roberts gave an address on women and politics at the annual conversazione of the Wandsworth and Putney W.L.F. 3) Mrs. Elbeth Philipps' lecturing and coaching engagements in London are mentioned. 4) At the fifteenth session of the Women's Parliament of Southern California, Rev. Eugenia St. John opened the sessions with a prayer, which was followed by a speech from the President, Major Belle Reynolds.
