Abstract

Several speeches, among them one by Lady Aberdeen, were made during a farewell ceremony in the Canadian Parliament, which was held by both Houses in honour of the Governor, Lord Aberdeen, and his wife, whose efforts for social causes and women in Canada were highlighted.
