Abstract

"'I assure you I have a great deal, my dear young lady, but I am very anxious about Kenneth. If he is left to his own devices he will certainly end by marrying the daughter of some shoemaker or else a female lecturer. It is my greatest desire to see him with a respectable wife.'" [p. 174]
