Abstract

1) Annual Meetings of the B. W. T. A.: Report on a "devotional meeting" at Holborn Town Hall, at which Alys Pearsall Smith, Frances Willard, and other women speak. Describes the manner and effect of the speakers, and briefly summarises most of the addresses. 2) The Council Meetings: Reproduction of an address by Lady Henry Somerset on temperance, politics, and female suffrage.
