Abstract

The article includes a report on meetings of the Finnish Women's Association, at which three women "sent by the Central Union," Maria Furuhjelm, Elizabeth Stenius, and Mathilda von Troil, give lectures. The Association's vice-president, Hilda Käkikoski, is referred to as "a beautiful speaker." The papers on topics ranging from women's roles through history, education, and social purity are summarised. The "woman question as an outgrowth of Christianity" and "work done among women for women" are named as further topics.
