1) "Miss C.E. Martyn, of London, delivered three lectures in Aberdeen last week under the auspices of the Independent Labour party. The lecturer, who is well known as a prominent member of the Brotherhood of Man movement, chose 'Municipal Socialism' as the subject of her first lecture." [Details of the lecture are provided] 2) Mrs. Bell appealed to the women of Glasgow to support the Lifeboat Saturday Fund. 3) The Duchess of Sutherland opened the new wing of the Grove Street Institute, Glasgow. Her address is quoted in parts. A number of other speeches were made.
