Abstract

1) At a meeting of the Liverpool Women's Crusade Aainst Intemperance at the Young Men's Temperance Hall, Mrs. Booth, Mrs. Rendall, and Mrs. Drysdale addressed the audience. 2) "Mrs. Perasall Smith spoke in Norwich on October 3rd in the C.E.T.S. Rooms on the subject of 'Temperance Principles.' 3) Miss Kate Jenkins "gave an admirable address on the Parish and District Council Bills." Her speech was followed by remarks from Mrs. Powel. 4) At a meeting of the Kinross Branch of the B.W.T.A., Miss White (Glasgow) 'gave an address full of loving enthusiasm.' At another joint meeting of the United Committees of several Scottish branches at the residence of Mrs. Millar, Sheardale House, several addresses were given by women.
