Abstract

"[...] Justin took up the morning paper, where, among other interesting items, he saw the advertisement of a celebrated lady lecturer, who was announced to deliver a discourse [...] on the great subject of Woman's Rights. 'Ah, by the way! how about woman's rights now, sweet wife?' said Justin, as he called her attention to the advertisement. 'While I live,' answered Britomarte, 'I will advocate the rights of women - in general. But for my individual self, the only right I plead for is woman's dearest right - to be loved to my heart's content all the days of my life!'"
