Abstract

Account of the Congress that singles out Frau Stritt as one notable speaker, having been "actively engaged in addressing meetings in the chief cities of the Empire. She puts her facts forcibly, and is an inspiring speaker." Lina Morgenstern and Minna Cauer speak, the former on "the union of the sexes [as] alone leading to true progress." In her presidential address, Morgenstern also speaks on the conception of the Congress. Reproduces Frau Stritt's address on suffragism in Germany, Baroness Alexandra Grippenberg's account on Finland, and Louise Ey's of Spain and Portugal, and briefly summarises Miss Park's paper on "Day Nurseries." Other topics and speakers are named or mentioned anonymously.
