Report on the annual conference of the National Union of Women Workers. Mentions the chairwomen of different meetings, and takes particular note of a discussion of childcare under the Poor Law, at which "[s]o many women Guardians of the poor were present that it was impossible for all to speak who wished to do so; and it was delightful to hear the sense and clearness of the speeches that were delivered - full both of practical knowledge and wise thought - and to note the strong individual opinions formed and the rational manner in which those opinions were accounted for." Briefly summarises the discussion and names further topics that were addressed at the conference.
