Abstract

Florence Balgarnie's account of a meeting organised according to the teachings of Schools of Methods. Describes the training offered by the Schools and mentions that women frequently require instruction in public speaking. The article closes with an account of Lady Henry Somerset's activities of presiding and giving addresses, including on "The Art of Public Speaking." An address by Frances Willard is also mentioned.
